Pass A: The candidate received a final grade of 90-100%, which averages all module quizzes and written assignments. The candidate exceeded the expectations of the course and is prepared for an entry-level ESL/EFL teacher position. The candidate showed exceptional understanding of the role of the learner, the role of the teacher, the English language, how to teach English, and how to organize a learner-centered class.

Pass B: The candidate received a final grade of 80-89%, which averages all module quizzes and written assignments. The candidate met all the expectations of the course and is prepared for an entry-level ESL/EFL teacher position. The candidate showed an understanding of the role of the leaner, the role of the teacher, the English language, how to teach English, and how to organize a learner-centered class.

Pass C: The candidate received a final grade of 70-79%, which averages all module quizzes and written assignments. The candidate met all the expectations of the course, and is prepared for an entry-level ESL/EFL teacher position, but will need further development and guidance in understanding the role of the learner, the role of the teacher, the English language, how to teach English, and how to organize a learner-centered class.


 
      Endorsement Grading Criteria  
 
Pass: The candidate took the endorsement final exam and received a score of 70% or higher.

Fail: The candidate took the endorsement final exam and received a score of 69% or lower.
